Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Courtney’s passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic/stressful life experiences. She understands that no single approach is the right one for every individual and believes in using an eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each new client. She provides individual, family and couples psychotherapy utilizing cognitive behavioral and solution-focused treatment approaches. Courtney strives to help her clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful and safe.
MA, MS, LPC received a master of arts in Psychological Counseling from Monmouth University in 2005 and a master of science from Rutgers University Behavioral Neuroscience program in 1982. She completed training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through Behavioral Tech, LLC, Seattle, Washington in 2009, and has extensive experience in anger management training.
